In July 2018, the INTEWAR partner consortium conducted a fact-finding mission to Cameroon as part of a definition project. The aim was to gain first hand insights and understand the challenges and opportunities associated with water and wastewater problems. The necessary contacts with relevant partners in the water management sector, as well as with authorities, science and society, also constituted a major focus of this mission. During this fact-finding trip, the project team was able to visit various flood risk areas and see the problem for themselves.
